Aleck has come from a fine art background where he realised his passion for editing. He combines his creative flair with sound technical knowledge, an ability to work under pressure and to deliver high standard results within tight deadlines.

Aleck is as comfortable editing with a roomful of clients as he is working on a project autonomously. He understands the importance of collaboration and harmony in the edit suite. Producers, directors and clients alike comment on how easy he is to work with. Aleck is a talented, ambitious and reliable editor who would be a valuable asset to any project.

Davey is a creative Avid editor with bags of experience across drama, docos, promos, corporate and news. Having worked for BBC, MTV, Channel 5, TWI and LiveTV, Davey joined Bloomberg as a Senior Editor and managed the post production department for four years.

His particular interests are working with producers on pilots, new shows and relaunches as this provides the greatest scope for creative input and collaboration. Besides editing, Daveys other passion is writing television drama. He is currently writing on Shameless for Company Pictures, Doctors for BBC and on an original idea with Paul Abbott.

Janet has a wide range of editing experience and particularly enjoys cutting films based on observational filming, and developing strong, visually interesting stories- she believes humour and emotion are the most important elements in a successful film.

Janet trained at the BBC in current affairs and then worked as a staff editor in a facility company, before going freelance to specialize in cutting documentaries. Film making can be a very intense process, her strengths are staying calm and objective and a keeping a sense of humour. A strong problem solver, who has been told several times she should market herself as a trouble shooter for 'difficult' films!

Jonathan has been editing professionally since 1996, but studied documentary film making and editing whilst at university from 1992. Jonathan is equally at home with Final Cut Pro or Avid, using all Avid applications, and is a real team player enthusiastically contributing to any project, working well under pressure. His background interests of photography, film, writing and music give him a good sense of storytelling and narrative rhythm, making him very much ‘an editor’s editor’. Jonathan is happy to cut a wide range of genres, and has a particular passion for comedy, drama, politics and history, with a love of archive footage and a sharp eye for detail.

Lisa trained as an Assistant Editor at a busy Soho post facility, specialising in commercials and music videos. This background has made her a quick thinker with excellent technical skills, very comfortable working with clients or by herself. It also got her accustomed to long hours and tight deadlines!

Since becoming freelance, Lisa has worked on dramas, documentaries, corporate videos and a feature film. She is particularly keen to work on more Factual projects. She is constantly building on her skills and recently she took a short course in After Effects. She also has experience with new tapeless formats including the RED camera.
