Our client are seeking a dedicated Post Production Producer that has experience in handling longform, shortform and graphics projects. You will be part of a team supporting the Post Producers to deliver a high level of service to clients using the facilities.
You will need to ensure the effective and efficient coordination and implementation of booking enquiries within post production and to ensure the accurate and timely completion of relevant administration.
You will be required to:
To co-ordinate bookings with colleagues and at time devise appropriate schedules.
To devise and enter the client schedules onto the computerised scheduling system and to update the data as required.
To co-ordinate and, when required, project manage the post production process for clients. “Acting up” when requested to cover absence of the Post Producers.
Co-ordinate and when required, project manage the post-production process for clients, covering for the Post Producers when they are not available.
To undertake any other relevant administrative tasks as directed to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
To undertake any other duties/projects relevant to the role as assigned by the facility manager.
Requirements
Essential requirements: Familiar with Avid workflow
Experience of machine room
A client base that you will be able to offer the company
Proven experience of working within a busy post production facility with experience of scheduling staff and resources
Demonstrate experience of working within a client based environment with a proven track record of delivery.
Desired: An experience of Farmers Wife scheduling system would be an advantage

This busy Avid-based editing Facility work with UK Broadcast production companies across short form and long form projects. Their rapid growth and expanding client base demands a Post Producer to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. London based.
The candidate will come from a busy Editing facility (pref UK), where they will have been heavily involved in (broadcast) bookings, for at least 2 years. They can demonstrate their project management skills, and readiness for the challenge of Post Production Producer.
The Role: Alongside the rest of the post producing team, you will be required to manage assigned projects in-house and see them through to delivery.
This opportunity will allow the candidate to progress and develop their existing project management skills, taking responsibility for the smooth running and delivery of a diverse portfolio of work, including: music, entertainment, promo, documentary, lifestyle and corporate. Client handling skills are key as you will work closely with production companies etc to ensure excellent standards of service and work are maintained.
Duties include:
Creating and managing project schedules both internally and with the client Communicating with the in-house project team to ensure clarity of expectations and deadlines Taking briefs when required Managing budgets / Ensure profitability of project Quality control - checking all deliverables carefully
Requirements

Highly talented creative designer/editor required, to edit design and deliver a number of ‘How To’ DVD’s in the style of The Experts Guide format www.expertsguide.tv. We have 4 titles in pre production currently. Other editing will include corporate dvd’s, promo’s, you tube previews, etc. Also the occasion Life Story film www.lifestoryonfilm.com . The DVD project will consist of editing a set of interviews together as well as designing straps and branding graphics for a DVD series. This will include programme packaging, as well as mattes and fills that will be used for future versions of the DVD.
You will be working in a high energy, fun environment, with loads of scope for creativity, ideas and input. We are very forward thinking, work with some top freelancers from the BBC etc, and have a huge range of graphics software and sound effects library’s. We use the latest equipment – top of the range Mac Pro’s, Sony HD cameras, and lovely office’s.
The local area is gorgeous – full of great pubs, restaurants, and lovely country side.You will be working with some very creative individuals who at look at life in a very positive ‘can do’ way.
